Wildflower Painting Class LEAA

Come paint some wildflowers with me at Little Egypt Art Association on the square in Marion!

This class is unique in that you REALLY TRULY do NOT need to be creative to make a beautiful painting. I am making the hardest part — the flowers — ahead of time, so you don’t have to!

This makes a several days long class into something you can do in just over an hour! I will show you how to plan a layout design for your painting. Teach you how to use palette knives to paint the background. And show you how to properly pipe paint to make the perfect leaves and additional details. You leave the class with a gorgeous 6x8 wildflower painting in hand!

Everyone will be given a box filled with pre-made flowers to use in your painting. Everyone’s flowers will be slightly different (Some of the box options are pictured .It will be first-come first- choose so far as the flower boxes go. And it is always fun to trade flowers with your neighbor :)

SPOTS ARE LIMITED AND YOU MUST REGISTER AHEAD OF TIME

Kids ages 10+ are welcome with an adult.

Class will be held at Little Egypt Art Association on Thursday, July 10 from 11am - 12:30pm

All supplies will be provided, including pre-made paint flowers, 6×8 cradled wooden board, super thick paint to texture the background in multiple colors. All palette knives, piping bags etc. will be provided. Just bring yourself in something you don’t mind getting paint on.
